Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Gutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gauthier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gauthier has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Gutz enables Gauthier to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gutz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gutz pushes Gauthier off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Gauthier looks winded!
Gutz darts in and clinches Gauthier up against the cage.
Gutz landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Gutz tightens his grip and picks Gauthier up, before dumping him to the ground. Gauthier manages to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gutz stands up from Gauthier's guard - Gutz perhaps looking for a knockout.
Apollo Gutz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gutz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gauthier quickly recovers to half guard.
Gutz stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gauthier to get to his feet.
Gutz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gauthier is rocked!
Gutz decides to stand up.
Gauthier is still on wobbly legs! Can Gutz finish him?
Gutz throws a quick head kick that knocks Gauthier silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Gutz is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Apollo Gutz!
Apollo Gutz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
