Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gero Kretschmer (ranked 2261 p4p, 226 weight class) and Randy Rhodes (ranked 5925 p4p, 519 weight class). Kretschmer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2Pac - Don't make enemies with me. Rhodes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gero Kretschmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Rhodes!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kretschmer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rhodes with a poor takedown
and Kretschmer counters with a nice uppercut.
Rhodes shoots in and drives through. Kretschmer sprawls well.
Kretschmer scores with a decent looking hook.
Rhodes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kretschmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rhodes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kretschmer avoids it really well and circles away.
Gero Kretschmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Rhodes.
Rhodes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kretschmer counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rhodes or perhaps it was just good defense by Kretschmer, which made it look bad.
Kretschmer is looking to counter punch.
Kretschmer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rhodes's head.
Rhodes is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
and Kretschmer counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Rhodes! He's just covering up as Kretschmer starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gero Kretschmer!
Gero Kretschmer bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Randy Rhodes spoke after the fight, saying 'He cheated! Check his gloves, they've got chloroform on them!'.
