Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karl Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Czeslaw Pendrak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Czeslaw Pendrak!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendrak looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jackson!
Pendrak punishing his opponent with strikes.
Pendrak is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jackson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pendrak with shots to the head and body - Jackson looks very uncomfortable down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pendrak controlling the position easily from mount.
The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pendrak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pendrak is working for a guillotine from mount but Jackson frees his head quite easily.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jackson is bucking up trying to escape but Pendrak cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jackson is looking to improve his position but Pendrak isn't that keen on the idea.

I looks like Pendrak might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Pendrak working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Pendrak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Pendrak is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jackson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pendrak cracks Jackson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pendrak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jackson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
The referee warns Jackson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Pendrak gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jackson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Pendrak looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jackson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Pendrak looking to finish Jackson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jackson!
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Pendrak gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pendrak lands a big elbow.
Pendrak in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Pendrak lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackson hang on?
Pendrak with a couple of short strikes.
Jackson wants to hold on but Pendrak pushes him away.
Pendrak looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Czeslaw Pendrak dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Pendrak feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Pendrak changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jackson is trying to hold Pendrak in close to prevent damage but Pendrak has managed to pass into half guard.
Pendrak is looking to advance position but Jackson won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pendrak working the head and body with strikes.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pendrak lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jackson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pendrak sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pendrak slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Czeslaw Pendrak just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pendrak closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackson to the mat! Jackson manages to get full guard.
Pendrak passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pendrak is looking to advance position but Jackson won't allow it.

Pendrak decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Czeslaw Pendrak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson blocks a low kick nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pendrak.
Jackson stops Pendrak from passing to mount.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom here.
Pendrak controls the position from side control.

Pendrak's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Jackson looks to move to half guard but instead Pendrak has passed into mount! Damn!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pendrak content just to control the position here.

Pendrak jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jackson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee asks Pendrak politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pendrak prefers to stall for the moment though.

Czeslaw Pendrak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Pendrak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pendrak must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pendrak controls the pace.
Pendrak wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

Pendrak won't allow Jackson to sweep him here.
Pendrak postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pendrak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pendrak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well, if Pendrak is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Pendrak has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Pendrak is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jackson is trying to stand up here but Pendrak is controlling him well.

Karl Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pendrak stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Czeslaw Pendrak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Jackson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pendrak uses it to pass to side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Czeslaw Pendrak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pendrak winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
