4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Jaa! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaa scores with the left hand. Ribeiro knows he should have avoided that one. Ribeiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jaa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches. Ribeiro jumps guard but Jaa stands there with Ribeiro around his waist. Ribeiro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ribeiro is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jaa to keep the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jaa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Ribeiro ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ribeiro no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Ribeiro is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jaa rolls with it to try and escape but Ribeiro cranks on the arm and Jaa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After the fight, Edson Ribeiro was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
