Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chong Tay (ranked 8223 p4p, 118 weight class) and Bricks Thrower (ranked 8237 p4p, 119 weight class). The key to victory for Chong Tay has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chong Tay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bricks Thrower! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thrower goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Thrower digs a good body shot into Tay's ribs. Thrower tries to work over Tay's front leg with a kick but Tay checks it. Tay throws a right hand that Thrower ducks under and follows up with a left that Thrower also avoids with ease. Tay is looking to land body kicks. A good leg kick by Tay. Tay checks a leg kick. Thrower changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Chong Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thrower closes the distance and clinches. Tay tries to circle away but Thrower has him pinned against the cage. Thrower escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thrower checks the leg kick. Tay throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thrower counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tay misses with a low kick. Tay throws a series of punches but Thrower moves out of range. Tay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thrower circles away quickly and effectively. Tay throws a front kick aimed at Thrower's knee but Thrower avoids it well. Thrower fails with a takedown attempt. A combination from Tay does no damage. Thrower closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thrower lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tay backwards. Tay has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Thrower. Thrower throws a knee to the head but misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Thrower throws an elbow but misses. Tay avoids the elbow strike from Thrower, against the cage.
Thrower looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Thrower has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Thrower scores with a hook to the body. Tay blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Thrower is trying to break the clinch but Tay is controlling him. Thrower stalling in the clinch.
Tay wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Thrower has him pressed against the cage. Thrower breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chong Tay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tay throws a leg kick but Thrower checks it. Thrower fails with the takedown. As Thrower tries to get set, Tay tries to push him back and clinch up but Thrower manages to avoid the attempt. Thrower on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Thrower looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thrower on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Thrower fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tay looks for the body kick but Thrower saw that one coming. Tay misses with a low kick. Tay misses with a few strikes there.
Tay scores with a push kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tay throws a right and a left that both miss. Thrower lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Tay throws a right hand that Thrower ducks under and follows up with a left that Thrower also avoids with ease. Both fighters circling a little - Tay finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Tay throws a right hand that Thrower ducks under and follows up with a left that Thrower also avoids with ease. Tay throws a right and a left that both miss. Thrower scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A punch combination from Tay misses. Tay misses with a two punch combination.
Thrower chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tay can pounce on him.
Tay connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Thrower! He's out on his feet! Tay rushes in and drops Thrower with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chong Tay! After the fight, Chong Tay was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
