Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Thomas! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starbowski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Starbowski swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Thomas moves into the clinch. Thomas jumps into guard, dragging Starbowski to the mat.
Thomas is pulling down on Starbowski's head to control his posture. Thomas's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Thomas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Starbowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Thomas is tightening it up a little... Starbowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Starbowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Starbowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Thomas!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Sam Thomas!
