Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Rampage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Niko Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rampage dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Rampage's head and hops out.
Jab by Diaz.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Diaz duly obliges.
Diaz misses with a double jab.
Rampage has a takedown stuffed.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rampage tightens his grip and picks Diaz up, before dumping him to the ground. Diaz manages to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rampage's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Diaz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rampage manages to get himself to full guard.
Diaz wanted to stand there but Rampage had control of the position.

Rampage is adopting a defensive guard.
Diaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Rampage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Diaz throwing strikes but missing.
Rampage looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rampage is adopting a defensive guard.
Diaz wants to stand but Rampage is controlling his posture from full guard.

Diaz has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rampage to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Diaz is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rampage pulls down on the head and he's put Diaz to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lewis Rampage!
