Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hone Huia (ranked 1300 p4p, 177 weight class) and Lip Ton (ranked 1336 p4p, 181 weight class). Huia's entrance music is Poi E - Patea Maori Club. A fine choice. Ton has chosen Snap - Rythm is a Dancing as his entrance music. Hone Huia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Huia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ton moves away.

A telegraphed right hand from Huia misses the target.

Ton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Huia is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lip Ton made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I'm here to break some arms and snap some necks and tonight I proved that I'm the best of the best. Not one person in the promotion can play with me. I'm heading for the top and there is two things they can do about it - nothing and like it!'.
