Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Grimes (ranked 2877 p4p, 377 weight class) and James Steel (ranked 4899 p4p, 549 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Grimes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Steel! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grimes has Steel up against the cage in a clinch.
Grimes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Steel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A telegraphed right hand from Grimes misses the target. Grimes tries to clinch but Steel moves out of range. Steel lands with a thumping leg kick.
Steel keeps the fight on the outside. Grimes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Grimes takes the fight into the clinch. Grimes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Grimes moves into the clinch successfully.
Steel makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Steel jumps into guard, dragging Grimes to the mat.
Grimes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grimes trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom. Grimes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Steel's guard. Steel looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is looking for a triangle but Grimes pushes his legs off easily.
Grimes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steel on the ground. Steel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Grimes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Steel has tightened it up now! Grimes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). James Steel! After the big win, James Steel made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Urban Fighter and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
