Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grady Froelich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slum Dogg! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Froelich moves into range and clinches up with Dogg. Froelich pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dogg thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Froelich keeping full guard, as Dogg tries to pass. Froelich working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dogg. Froelich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Froelich thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dogg should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dogg looking for submissions from an awkward position here. That's one minute gone in the round. Dogg actively working from the bottom here. Froelich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dogg on the ground. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Froelich trying to pass the guard but Dogg defending well. Froelich will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Froelich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dogg to the mat! Dogg manages to get full guard. Froelich throws a sloppy strike and Dogg has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Froelich is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Dogg!
