Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brad Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Hall!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Hall as Foster shoots in.
Foster really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Foster moves into the clinch.
Hall is looking for a takedown.
Foster is looking to take this one to the mat.
Foster definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Foster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall shoots for a takedown but Foster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hall takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hall shoots for a double leg takedown but Foster sprawls well. He's pushed Hall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brad Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Hall.

Hall jumps guard but Foster stands there with Hall around his waist. Hall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hall is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall is still trying to improve position.

You can see the frustration on Hall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Foster decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hall to his feet.
Foster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall shoots in for a takedown but Foster shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Foster is looking to counter the offense by Hall and move into the clinch.
Hall leaves Foster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hall moves in looking to clinch but Foster pushes him off.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown. Hall tries to sprawl out of it but Foster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster.
Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Foster, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hall tries to bum rush Foster with a series of wild strikes but Foster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foster's waist but Foster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hall off to one side.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Hall counters with a shoot takedown. Foster fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

As Hall looks to move away, Foster throws a big counter combo but Hall just gets out of the way.

Brad Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall throws a right and a left that Foster avoids nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Foster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hall controls the pace.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hall or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster, which made it look bad.

Hall throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hall swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hall struggles to land a body shot inside as Foster controls his hands.

Hall is pushing Foster's head away, looking to escape. Foster manages to hold on to the position though.

Hall is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Hall is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Foster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hall is looking to regain half guard here but Foster keeps moving and retains side control.

Foster is really struggling to control Hall but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee asks Foster politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Foster prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hall can't do much from the bottom here.
Hall tries to buck Foster off but Foster is having none of it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Foster fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Foster swats away the attempt to clinch by Hall.
Hall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hall wants it to stay on the feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hall.
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Foster blocks a head kick by Hall.

Hall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Foster as he jumps to the side.

Hall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Foster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hall loads up on a big right hand but Foster slips the punch.
Foster throws a push kick but Hall slaps the foot to one side.

Hall closes the distance and pushes Foster back into the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Bobby Hall.
I think Hall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
