Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zaeed North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neigh Bohr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zaeed North!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neigh Bohr!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bohr keeps North at a distance using the push kick.

Bohr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bohr showed some decent athleticism there.
North is trying to maintain the position but Bohr is very close to passing his half guard.
North tries to get to full guard but Bohr has control of the leg.

North looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
North regains full guard. Nicely done.

Bohr tries to free his leg and advance position but North is retaining full guard.

North has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bohr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

North had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bohr defends it easily.
Bohr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

North working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bohr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bohr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bohr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

North is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
North controls Bohr momentarily but Bohr frees himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
North bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bohr's guard.

Bohr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bohr wants to get back to his feet but North is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
North wants to pass the guard but Bohr is keeping the position.

North is looking to take a break and control but Bohr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bohr looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bohr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. North is working away from the top position though.
Bohr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with North. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bohr is refusing to be controlled, as North sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

North is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bohr defends it well.
North is keen to just control but Bohr is a slippery customer.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bohr is looking for a sweep. North is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bohr fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
North doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from North enables Bohr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. North manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

North is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bohr has his hands clasped together but North extends and breaks Bohr's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by North.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Zaeed North!
