The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlise throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carlise scores with a one two! McNutt had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

McNutt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McNutt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McNutt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlise. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
