Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dock Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisho Oiyambe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Taisho Oiyambe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Taisho Oiyambe!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ellis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Oiyambe takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ellis scores with a jab to the body.
Ellis thumps Oiyambe with a low kick.
Ellis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Oiyambe doesn't seem bothered though.
Ellis connects with a body shot that sends Oiyambe's belly button to the back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ellis cracks a nice hook into Oiyambe's ribs.
Ellis lands an overhand right.
It looks like Taisho Oiyambe has been cut.

Oiyambe looks winded!

Ellis connects with a body shot that sends Oiyambe's belly button to the back.
Oiyambe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ellis.
Ellis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oiyambe at a distance.
Oiyambe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ellis cracks the inside of Oiyambe's front leg.
Ellis drops Oiyambe with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Oiyambe! Ellis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dock Ellis!
