The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jake Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith throws a hook but Galileo avoids it easily.
Galileo looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Galileo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Sao Galileo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Galileo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
Galileo cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Galileo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Smith to stand back up!

Galileo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith is stalling here. Galileo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Smith seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Galileo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That's time! Galileo 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Galileo lands with a nice body punch.

Galileo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Galileo 's corner calls for a 1-2. Galileo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Smith throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Galileo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smith thinking.
Galileo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Galileo finish him?!

This has been an exciting period of action!

and Galileo counters with an inside leg kick.
Galileo is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Smith flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Smith is out cold! Galileo holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sao Galileo !
Sao Galileo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
