Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Cauton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cauton has chosen Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cauton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mir will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cauton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cauton throws a series of punches but Mir avoids them all with ease.
Mir throws a lazy head kick
and Cauton counters with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cauton.
Mir throws out a loose jab but Cauton uses good head movement to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Mir.
Mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cauton looking for submissions off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mir connects with a nice short shot to Cauton's temple.
Cauton wants to control but Mir is keeping busy.
Mir is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Cauton is trying to control but Mir manages to pass to mount!
Mir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cauton is squirming around, avoiding Mir's attempts to control the action.
Cauton tries to hold on but Mir pushes him away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mat Cauton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mat Cauton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
