Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arto Blomsten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
35 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Hoffman!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blomsten lands a right hook to the body.
Blomsten avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Blomsten dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Blomsten takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Blomsten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hoffman moves forwards but Blomsten connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hoffman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Blomsten drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Blomsten bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hoffman's head backwards.

Blomsten has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hoffman finds it's way round the side to connect with Blomsten's head.
Blomsten tries to clinch up but Hoffman circles away and keeps his distance.

Blomsten tries to pull guard but Hoffman holds him up against the cage and eventually Blomsten drops back down to his feet.
Blomsten ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blomsten no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hoffman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Blomsten is trying to pull guard but Hoffman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Blomsten will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hoffman stands and steps away. Blomsten gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hoffman moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Blomsten goes down! Can Hoffman finish him!?
Blomsten is rocked!
Hoffman stands and steps away. Blomsten gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Blomsten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blomsten drops his hands momentarily. Hoffman doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Blomsten staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Blomsten doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Hoffman!
In his post fight interview, Jack Hoffman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
