Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Hindman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emerson Castillo !
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hindman scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Castillo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hindman has Castillo pushed against the cage.
Castillo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Castillo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hindman misses with a takedown attempt - Castillo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Castillo appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Hindman wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castillo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hindman pushes Castillo off and gets back to his feet.

Castillo tries to clinch
and Hindman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hindman throws a sloppy head kick and Castillo moves out of range easily.
Hindman moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromCastillo .

Hindman tries to sprawl but Castillo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Castillo prevents Hindman from improving his position.
Hindman trying to control from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Castillo connects with a nice short shot to Hindman's temple.
It looks like Castillo is going to stand back up.
Hindman is pressing down on Castillo 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Castillo wants to stand but Hindman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Castillo is posturing up here but Hindman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Castillo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Castillo has to tap! Slick submission there by Hindman!
