The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around The Garbage Man's waist but The Garbage Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rich off to one side.
Nice sprawl there from The Garbage Man as Rich shoots in.
The Garbage Man shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rich is trying to defend but The Garbage Man finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Rich is trying to escape back to his feet but The Garbage Man uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The Garbage Man takes a little break here. Rich wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rich is looking to reverse the position.
The Garbage Man stands up.
Rich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The Garbage Man fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rich to the ground. The Garbage Man is now in Rich's guard.
Rich is looking to stand back up but The Garbage Man counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rich.
The Garbage Man seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The Garbage Man lands with a punch from half guard.

The Garbage Man perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Rich is looking to control The Garbage Man's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rich avoid being mounted?
The Garbage Man is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The Garbage Man stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Rich looks winded!

Nice body kick there by The Garbage Man.
The Garbage Man uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The Garbage Man moves into range and clinches up with Rich.
The Garbage Man wants a takedown but no success here.
The Garbage Man tries to circle away but Rich has him pinned against the cage.
The Garbage Man gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rich regains guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The Garbage Man gets to his feet - Rich follows without any prompting.
Rich tries to close the distance and clinch but The Garbage Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rich connects with a single shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Garbage Man shoots in for a takedown but Rich shows good takedown defense.
The Garbage Man keeps the fight on the outside.
Rich tries to clinch up.
Rich blocks a head kick by The Garbage Man.
Rich darts in looking for a takedown but The Garbage Man gets double underhooks and turns Rich into the cage.
Rich tries to score a power double leg takedown but The Garbage Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rich somewhat.
The Garbage Man went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

The Garbage Man drives through and clinches with Rich against the cage.

The Garbage Man is trying to push Rich away but Rich has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
The Garbage Man gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rich.
Harry The Garbage Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brahiem Rich.
The Garbage Man keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rich's efforts to push away.
Rich is breathing heavily.
Rich has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by The Garbage Man after a bit of a struggle.
The Garbage Man jumps guard and drags Rich to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The Garbage Man has Rich pulled in close to control his posture.
The Garbage Man is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Rich presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Rich tries to break free but The Garbage Man pushes him back against the cage.
Rich looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rich has had enough of the clinch but The Garbage Man keeps him there for the moment.
Rich is defending well against a takedown attempt.
The Garbage Man lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The Garbage Man is taking a breather. Rich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rich is looking to improve his position.
The Garbage Man is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rich!

The Garbage Man lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Rich tries to improve his position but The Garbage Man has taken his back! The Garbage Man has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Rich tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! The Garbage Man pushes Rich away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
