Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Twisted Fate (ranked 7927 p4p, 364 weight class) and Chad Masters (ranked 22761 p4p, 491 weight class). Twisted Fate had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Masters tries to counter it with a takedown but Fate pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fate dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fate throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Masters is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Fate fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fate looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Masters tries to counter it with a takedown but Fate pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Masters counters with a takedown into side control.
Masters is working to tighten his grip on Fate's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Fate has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Masters is really squeezing tight and eventually Fate passes out! Masters breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Chad Masters was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
