Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradford Forbes (ranked 3309 p4p, 460 weight class) and Martin Holm (ranked 2783 p4p, 409 weight class). Martin Holm will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bradford Forbes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Holm! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forbes misses with a looping left. Forbes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holm was well out of range. Poor timing from Forbes. It seemed like Holm was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A looping hook to the body misses from Forbes. Holm does a little dance to reset his feet. Holm with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Forbes to score with a decent uppercut. We've been told by Forbes's head coaches at Bójka that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Holm throws an overhand right that lands on Forbes's shoulder, as Forbes tries to avoid the shot. Forbes looks to throw the jab but Holm is out of range. Holm steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Forbes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes misses with a body shot
and Holm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Forbes scores with a sloppy right hand. Holm should have avoided that one. Forbes misses with a straight left. Holm throws out a counter right but Forbes avoids it with no problem. Martin Holm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Forbes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A jab from Forbes misses. It seemed like Holm was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Forbes misses with a lunging right hand
and Holm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Forbes misses with an uppercut. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holm! But no joy. Forbes throws a poor cross that misses

That's three minutes gone in the round. Forbes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Holm looks like he wants to counter punch here. Holm might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Forbes misses with a lunging right hand

Bradford Forbes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Forbes lands a jab to Holm's midsection. Holm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Holm wants it to stay on the feet. A little jabbing left from Holm on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Forbes throws a predictable looking body shot
and Holm connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Holm is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Forbes had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. A jab from Forbes misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holm! But no joy. Forbes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holm looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Holm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Forbes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Holm. A little jabbing left from Holm on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Forbes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Forbes thows a left - swing and a miss! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Forbes misses with a hook to the body
and Holm counters with a right hand to the body. Holm takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

letting Holm counter with a right hand. Forbes misses the jab. Forbes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holm moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Holm counters with a left to the body. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Forbes might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Holm. Forbes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Forbes on the wrong end of a nice jab. Forbes swings and misses with a shot to the body and Holm scores with a counter punch that sends Forbes to the canvas! Holm smells blood - he's punishing Forbes with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Forbes has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Holm! A very excited looking Martin Holm rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
