De Villefort moves out of range as Benvenuti throws a body kick.
A punch lands to the side of De Villefort 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Gerard De Villefort has been cut.
Giacomo Benvenuti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Villefort has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Benvenuti.
Benvenuti has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

De Villefort is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Benvenuti frees his head nicely. Oh but De Villefort has switched to an armbar! Benvenuti is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
