Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Buster Hively (ranked 7966 p4p, 790 weight class) and Jaymes Stevens (ranked 9169 p4p, 852 weight class). Hively comes to the ring accompanied by Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens misses with a leg kick.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses
and Hively counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hively darts in and clinches Stevens up against the ropes.
Hively just leaning against Stevens, taking a breather.
Hively keeps control of Stevens as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Stevens misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hively breaks the clinch.
Stevens throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hively has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Big dawg in the buildup to the fight.

Stevens looks to land a combination but Hively avoids it well.

Hively really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hively lands with an uppercut that bounces Stevens off the ropes and back into range.

Stevens throws a wild body kick that Hively sees coming a mile off.
Hively throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Stevens attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Stevens lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hively moves away.
Stevens has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hively.
Hively walks into a left hand.
Stevens pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stevens misses with a left hand
and Hively counters with a good low kick that Stevens was not able to check.
Hively throws a series of strikes that have Stevens backpedaling.
Hively lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stevens looks winded!
Hively throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hively scores with a jab to the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

It looks like Jaymes Stevens has been cut.
Good work by Hively as he checks the leg kick.
Hively blocks the body kick.
Hively moves into range and clinches up with Stevens.
A left hand lands to the body for Hively.
Hively lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Stevens throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stevens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Stevens is breathing heavily.

Hively lands a head kick that bluckles Stevens and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Hively no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Hively wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hively moves into range and connects with a jab.
Stevens is still on wobbly legs! Can Hively finish him?

Hively throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stevens seems to have recovered his senses.
Hively lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stevens at a distance.
Hively is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stevens can do to turn this around?
Hively rushes Stevens and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Stevens takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hively cracks Stevens with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Stevens is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Stevens is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hively breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hively is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Hively counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hively dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hively closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Stevens crashing to the mat! Stevens uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Hively pushes Stevens back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stevens can't find room to land a body shot as Hively controls the action.
Hively pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hively scores with a jab to the body.
Hively rushes Stevens and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Come on Hively - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hively makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hively lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Stevens is trying to break the clinch but Hively has him pressed against the ropes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Buster Hively takes the second round thanks to the knockdowns.
The cut man is working on Jaymes Stevens's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stevens is looking to land body kicks.
No joy there for Stevens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stevens is looking to score with low kicks.
Stevens tries to score with a low kick but Hively moves his leg out of the way.
Stevens looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stevens throws the kick towards the body but Hively avoids it.
Hively works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Hively.
Stevens takes one to the side of the head.
Stevens takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hively throws out a head kick that Stevens doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Stevens crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Stevens's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stevens is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hively.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stevens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hively was well out of range. Poor timing from Stevens.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hively, as that shot connected.
Stevens throws a leg kick but Hively moved away.
Hively scores with a nice body kick.
Stevens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hively throws a right and a left that Stevens avoids nicely.
Stevens is looking for the big counter here.
Stevens throws a sloppy head kick and Hively moves out of range easily.

Stevens missing with a left hand there. Hively was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hively appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Stevens takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hively closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Stevens crashing to the mat! Stevens uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Stevens ducks into a a hook from Hively and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hively and Stevens are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Hively throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Stevens into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Hively knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Buster Hively!
