Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Warren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilbo Baggins! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggins misses with the combination.
Baggins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Warren sprawls well. Warren wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baggins gets slowly back to his feet. Baggins is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Warren shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baggins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Warren controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Warren stands up from Baggins's guard - Warren perhaps looking for a knockout. Baggins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baggins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Warren rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baggins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Baggins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Warren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Warren seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Baggins quickly recovers to half guard. Warren throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warren content to control rather than advance. Warren is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Well, if Warren is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Warren lands a nice short elbow. Baggins trying to control here.
Warren decides to stand up. Baggins scores with a one two! Warren had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Warren tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baggins defends well and Warren ends up having to push Baggins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Baggins misses with a few strikes there.
Baggins throws a right and a left that Warren avoids nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Warren slips a jab and a cross from Baggins.
Warren went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sloppy strikes from Baggins. Those never looked like landing. Warren drives through with a takedown into Baggins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Baggins throws a right hand that Warren ducks under and follows up with a left that Warren also avoids with ease. Baggins tries to bum rush Warren with a series of wild strikes but Warren uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Baggins misses with a wild combination.
Warren wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Baggins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Some wild striking there from Baggins.
It looked like Warren was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Baggins misses with a wild combination.
Baggins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warren moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Warren feinted there with a counter leg kick. Warren shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baggins napping and manages to drive through into side control! Baggins sneaks out the side door and pushes Warren away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Baggins looks winded! Sloppy strikes from Baggins. Those never looked like landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Warren changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baggins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Warren working the strikes but Baggins uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Baggins has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Warren trying to control the pace. Warren stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Baggins to get to his feet. Warren gets a double leg takedown into Baggins's guard. Warren stands up from Baggins's guard - Warren perhaps looking for a knockout. Warren drives through with a takedown into Baggins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Warren postures up in Baggins's guard and throws a big left but Baggins blocks it. Warren throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baggins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Warren decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bilbo Baggins seems to be getting the better of the standup. Baggins throws a right hand that Warren ducks under and follows up with a left that Warren also avoids with ease. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Warren is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Baggins's shoulder. That is not cool. Baggins struggling a bit here. Warren tries to score with some ground and pound. Baggins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Warren is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baggins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Check out the look on Warren's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warren taking a breather here. Warren swings around for an armbar but Baggins sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Warren's guard. Warren has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Baggins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Warren. Baggins working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warren tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Baggins presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Baggins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warren is looking to escape. Warren is looking to improve his position but Baggins isn't that keen on the idea. Warren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Baggins looking to control but Warren is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Warren has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Warren is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Bilbo Baggins will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Warren could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Warren shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Baggins sprawls well. and Warren counters with a nice double leg into side control. Baggins won't be happy with that. Miguel Warren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Baggins throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Warren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baggins as he jumps to the side. Baggins moves out of range of the body kick from Warren.
Baggins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baggins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Warren circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren stuffs the takedown attempt from Baggins. Baggins gets slowly back to his feet. Warren is looking for a counter combo. Baggins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Warren dives in and scores a takedown into Baggins's guard. Warren gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Baggins throws a series of strikes that have Warren backpedaling.

Warren wants to take the fight to the mat but Baggins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Baggins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Warren is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Baggins to the mat. Baggins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Warren throwing strikes from guard but Baggins blocks nicely. Warren has gone for a leg lock! Baggins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Warren's guard.

Warren throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Baggins manages to pass to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warren is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Warren is working hard here to advance position. Baggins decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Baggins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warren paws at him with a jab and circles away. Baggins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Warren tries to avoid it but Baggins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Warren to the ground. Warren escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Baggins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warren moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Baggins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Warren circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Baggins does no damage. Warren shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warren showed some decent athleticism there. Warren drops an elbow to the side of Baggins's head. Bilbo Baggins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Warren controlling the action here. Miguel Warren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Baggins has hold of Warren's hands but Warren slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Bilbo Baggins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Baggins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
