Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Han Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent misses with a takedown attempt - Solo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice straight punches there by Solo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Solo. Solo fails with the takedown and Kent counters with a takedown into side control. Kent looks gassed! Solo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kent prevents Solo from standing back up.
Kent prevents Solo from improving his position. Solo wants to get back to his feet. Solo won't allow Kent to pass to mount. Solo tries to kick Kent off but Kent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Solo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kent counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Solo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kent drops back looking for a leg! Solo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solo manages to kick Kent off! Kent jumps back into Solo's guard. Kent tries to free his leg and advance position but Solo is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent preventing the sweep. Solo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Solo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kent has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kent! Kent is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solo keeping moving, preventing Kent from controlling successfully. Kent has gone for a leg lock! Solo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kent's guard. Solo stands and steps away. Kent gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Solo looks for a takedown but Kent sprawls well. Solo shoots for a double leg takedown but Kent sprawls well. He's pushed Solo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Han Solo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solo fails with a takedown attempt. Kent closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kent lands in his opponent's guard. Solo is trying to hold Kent in close to prevent damage but Kent has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Solo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kent walks into a left hand. Solo scores with a takedown into Kent's guard. Kent is looking for a triangle but Solo pushes his legs off easily.
Solo forces his way into half guard. Solo wants to stand up but Kent is controlling the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Solo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kent is just riding it out for now. Solo eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solo gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Solo throws a one two combo.
Solo throws a series of punches but Kent avoids them all with ease. Solo throws a hook but Kent blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Solo throws a right and a left that both miss. Kent scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Solo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Solo is working hard here to advance position. Kent is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Solo sees it coming and defends easily. Kent stops Solo from getting back to his feet.
Solo is looking to control Kent's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Solo avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent is working for a kimura but Solo is defending it quite comfortably.
Solo trying to get back to full guard but Kent takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Solo is trying to stand. Solo tries to hold on but Kent postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Solo looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Solo wants to get back to his feet. Kent looking for the choke from the back. Kent looking for the choke but no joy. Solo tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kent moves out of range as Solo strikes. A combination from Solo does no damage. Solo tries to bum rush Kent with a series of wild strikes but Kent uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Solo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kent moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kent gets the takedown into side control. Kent working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Solo tries to escape but Kent is in control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Possibly, maybe, no Kent has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Solo regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Solo wants to sweep but Kent has passed to side control! Solo is trying to improve his position. Solo pushes Kent away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kent gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Kent wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Solo, who protects the arm well. Clark Kent has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solo wants to control but Kent postures up. Kent is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Solo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kent tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kent thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Solo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kent is trying to get an arm triangle but Solo is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Solo wants to control but Kent postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Clark Kent comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kent winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
