Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Domingo Chavez (ranked 4455 p4p, 571 weight class) and Aaron McCall (ranked 7519 p4p, 769 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Domingo Chavez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron McCall!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall misses with a double jab.
McCall fails to land the takedown.
McCall throws a right and a left that Chavez avoids nicely.
McCall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chavez tries to avoid it but McCall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chavez to the ground. Chavez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCall throws a leg kick that is checked
and Chavez counters with a nice leg kick.
Chavez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chavez lands with a good body shot.
McCall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McCall misses with a takedown
letting Chavez counter with a right hand.
It looks like Aaron McCall has been cut.
Domingo Chavez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron McCall.
McCall looks winded!
McCall misses with an uppercut.
No joy there for McCall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCall wants to slow Chavez down by chopping away at his legs.
McCall feints and then cracks Chavez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chavez down.
Chavez lands a jab to the nose.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chavez lands a big right hand that sends McCall crashing to the mat! Chavez stays standing though and waves McCall back to his feet!
McCall is rocked!

McCall misses with a combination
and Chavez finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
McCall misses with a double jab
and Chavez counters with a crisp right that sends McCall to the canvas! Chavez follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Domingo Chavez!
Domingo Chavez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
