Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wladyslaw Raginis (ranked 1315 p4p, 167 weight class) and Anthony Joseph (ranked 1798 p4p, 222 weight class). Joseph is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lamb of God-512. Anthony Joseph will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Joseph!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph lands with a nice body kick.
Raginis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Joseph circles away quickly and effectively.
Joseph is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Raginis with a body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Raginis.
Joseph connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Raginis throws a jab but it's blocked by Joseph.
Joseph let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Joseph keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Joseph lands with a straight right. Raginis didn't see that one coming.

Raginis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Joseph was covering up waiting for the punch and Raginis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joseph is pulling down on Raginis's head. It's preventing any offense from Raginis, at least for the moment.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Raginis is trying to control but can't.
Raginis is looking for a sweep. Joseph is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Raginis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Raginis.
Raginis wants to improve his position but instead Joseph has moved into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Raginis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Raginis swings wildly with an uppercut but Joseph uses good head movement to avoid it.

Joseph scores with a sloppy right hand. Raginis should have avoided that one.

and Joseph connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Raginis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Joseph walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Raginis drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Joseph swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Raginis's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
