Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aharon Sarkisyan (ranked 479 p4p, 55 weight class) and George Nassar (ranked 852 p4p, 102 weight class). Sarkisyan comes into the arena with Ara Gevorgyan - Artsakh blaring out of the sound system. George Nassar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aharon Sarkisyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Nassar!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarkisyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nassar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sarkisyan to score with a decent uppercut.
Sarkisyan misses with a leg kick
and Nassar counters with a left and a right that stings Sarkisyan.
Sarkisyan lands with an overhand left.
Sarkisyan defending well as Nassar loads up on a big left hand.
Nassar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sarkisyan. Sarkisyan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sarkisyan looks to score with a jab to the body but Nassar is just out of range.
Nassar moves out of range of the body kick from Sarkisyan.
Nassar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sarkisyan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nassar throws a lazy uppercut
and Sarkisyan counters with a nice body kick.
Nassar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sarkisyan in his tracks.
Nassar throws out a loose jab but Sarkisyan uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nassar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nassar is rocked!
Nassar leaves his chin hanging out and Sarkisyan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nassar crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aharon Sarkisyan!
