Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carol Owens (ranked 8574 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mylene Les Gros Os (ranked 6612 p4p, 0 weight class). Mylene Les Gros Os will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carol Owens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mylene Les Gros Os! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Les Gros Os closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Owens's guard. Les Gros Os is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Owens wants to sweep here but Les Gros Os controlling him for the moment. Les Gros Os stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Owens swivels though and keeps the full guard. Les Gros Os throws a strike but Owens rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Les Gros Os isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Owens stacks Les Gros Os on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Owens! Les Gros Os trying to control but Owens flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Les Gros Os wants to control his opponent's hands but Owens gets his hands free. Les Gros Os tries to escape but Owens has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The referee is taking a good look at Les Gros Os as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Owens!
Les Gros Os trying to control the position but Owens manages to sink in the hooks. Owens missing with punches from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Les Gros Os just trying to survive but Owens is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Owens is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Les Gros Os wants to control his opponent's hands but Owens gets his hands free. Owens missing with strikes. Les Gros Os rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Owens misses with a head shot. Les Gros Os uses the momentum to regain guard. Les Gros Os trying to keep a closed guard but Owens is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owens content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Owens chips away with some ground and pound. Les Gros Os pushes Owens off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Owens tries to sprawl but Les Gros Os drives through with a takedown into half guard. Owens avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Les Gros Os.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Les Gros Os thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Les Gros Os tries to pass the half guard into mount. Owens knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Owens wants to get back to his feet. Les Gros Os seems to be working for a kimura but Owens defends the submission attempt. Owens is looking to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Owens is staying active underneath Les Gros Os, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carol Owens will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Owens gets tackled into the cage by Les Gros Os. Les Gros Os maintains the clinch. Les Gros Os breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Les Gros Os scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Owens is trying to buck Les Gros Os off. Carol Owens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Les Gros Os tries for a kimura but Owens is defending well. Owens trying to remain calm as Les Gros Os controls from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owens is not content to let Les Gros Os control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Les Gros Os has knee on belly and moves into mount. Owens sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Owens pushes Les Gros Os off looking to stand but Les Gros Os dives back in and keeps control.
Les Gros Os seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Les Gros Os wants to pass to mount but Owens is defending the position. Owens keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Owens regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Les Gros Os. Owens working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Les Gros Os postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Owens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Les Gros Os, into his guard.
Les Gros Os scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Les Gros Os shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Owens napping and manages to drive through into side control! Owens throws Les Gros Os to one side and escapes!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Owens walks into a stiff left hand from Les Gros Os. Les Gros Os throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Owens is looking for a counter combo. Les Gros Os tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Owens wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Les Gros Os looking to score a takedown here. Owens is defending well but Les Gros Os drives through and ends up in Owens's guard. Owens is wriggling around but Les Gros Os manages to pass to half guard.
Les Gros Os is breathing heavily.
Owens looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Les Gros Os looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mylene Les Gros Os showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Les Gros Os. Les Gros Os throwing strikes but Owens manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Les Gros Os is trying to get back to half guard. Les Gros Os is pushing Owens's head away, looking to escape. Owens manages to hold on to the position though. Owens working the head with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Les Gros Os takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Les Gros Os is trying to control Owens's posture but Owens avoids it. Les Gros Os looking for a sweep but Owens has passed into full mount! Oh no! Les Gros Os is in all sorts of trouble here.
Owens working away from the top, dropping strikes. Les Gros Os is trying desperately to improve position. Les Gros Os tries to hold on but Owens postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Owens with a couple of short strikes. Les Gros Os is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Les Gros Os is working to get back to half guard.
Les Gros Os takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Les Gros Os flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Owens avoids the attempt from Les Gros Os to control. Owens jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Les Gros Os is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Les Gros Os and Owens has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Les Gros Os stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Les Gros Os tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Owens wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Owens is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Les Gros Os knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Les Gros Os is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Owens is one step ahead and moves to full mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Les Gros Os tries to hold on but Owens postures up. Owens is landing with some decent strikes but Les Gros Os is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that's the end of the fight! Carol Owens showed his dominance in that final round. I think Owens has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
