Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fermin Larson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chauncey Allcock!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allcock takes the fight into the clinch.

Larson blocks a head kick by Allcock.

You can see the frustration on Allcock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Larson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Allcock rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Larson's guard! Nice work there by Allcock!
Allcock throws a big elbow that misses.
Allcock is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Allcock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Larson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Larson is pulling down on Allcock's head. It's preventing any offense from Allcock, at least for the moment.
Allcock wants to pass the guard but Larson is keeping the position.

Larson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Larson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Allcock is aware though and is defending well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allcock is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Larson defends it well.
Larson wants to control but Allcock is keeping busy.

Allcock throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Larson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Allcock is in Larson's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allcock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allcock engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Allcock trying to control the position from guard on top but Larson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Larson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Larson closes the distance and clinches up with Allcock, looking for a takedown. Larson pushes Allcock against the cage but Allcock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Allcock scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Larson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Allcock is on him like a limpet, forcing Larson back against the cage.
Larson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Allcock pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chauncey Allcock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Allcock clinches.

Allcock breaks the clinch.
Larson tries to clinch there but Allcock circles away.

Allcock clinches up with Larson and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Larson goes for a takedown attempt but Allcock pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fermin Larson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Allcock darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Allcock controlling the pace.
Larson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Allcock thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Larson's head.
Allcock sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Let's hope that Allcock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Allcock missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Allcock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Larson keeps working.

Allcock decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Allcock moves into the clinch.

Allcock breaks the clinch.

Allcock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Larson is looking to regain half guard here but Allcock keeps moving and retains side control.
Allcock controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chauncey Allcock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Allcock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Allcock.

Larson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Larson lands in his opponent's guard.

Allcock looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Larson has picked Allcock up and slammed him! Allcock can't keep hold of the triangle and Larson manages to pass to side control!

Larson lands a few punches from side control.

Larson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Allcock is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Allcock wants to control but Larson postures up.

Allcock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Larson lands a nice short elbow.

Allcock is defending against the submission attempts here by Larson.

Larson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Allcock has managed to free his arm - good work.
Larson misses with a head shot. Allcock uses the momentum to regain guard.
Allcock has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Allcock has his foot on Larson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Larson works his way back into a safe position though.

Allcock fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Larson is out of range.

Allcock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Larson wants to stand up but Allcock is controlling him.
Fermin Larson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chauncey Allcock is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Allcock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
