Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Lashley!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockayne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lashley has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Rockayne has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Rockayne wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lashley has him pressed against the cage.
Lashley dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Lashley tries to throw a body punch but Rockayne avoids it by throwing Lashley back against the cage.

Lashley pulls guard effortlessly.
Lashley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rockayne wants to control from the top but Lashley keeps moving.
Rockayne has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lashley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rockayne defends well.

Rockayne throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lashley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rockayne is in Lashley's guard.

Rockayne had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lashley defends it easily.

Lashley wants to pass the guard but Rockayne is defending well.

Rockayne closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lashley did well to prevent Rockayne getting side control.

Rockayne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lashley's guard.

Rockayne decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lashley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rockayne has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lashley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rockayne tries to score a body lock takedown but Lashley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rockayne wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rockayne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lashley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rockayne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bobby Lashley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Lashley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rockayne tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Lashley easily slips into full mount!

Rockayne is refusing to be controlled, as Lashley sits in half guard.
Rockayne won't allow Lashley to pass to mount.
Rockayne is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Rockayne tries for a takedown but Lashley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Lashley's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lashley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lashley misses with a few strikes there.
Rockayne drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lashley sprawls and moves away.

Rockayne keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Lashley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lashley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rockayne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lashley on the ground.
Lashley tries to score with some ground and pound. Rockayne controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Rockayne tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Rockayne sneaks out the side door and pushes Lashley away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Rockayne drives through with a takedown into Lashley's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
