0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Reed! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed closes the distance but Cobb moves to the side and Cobb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cobb shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reed pinned against the cage. Reed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Reed takes a swing at Cobb's ribcage but misses. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Reed has eaten all the pies! Good standup being displayed there by Cobb as he connects with a hook. Reed is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reed tries to clinch up and Cobb counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reed moves to clinch but Cobb breaks away and Cobb counters with a two punch combo. Sloppy strikes from Cobb. Those never looked like landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cobb swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tyler Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cobb counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Reed is looking to control Cobb's arms but Cobb gets an underhook and turns him. Now Reed has his back to the cage. Reed goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Reed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cobb swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cobb trying to control the position here. Reed throwing strikes from guard but Cobb blocks nicely. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cobb is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cobb preventing the sweep. Cobb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cobb gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Reed scores with a nice strike. Nice defenses there by Cobb. Cobb drives through and clinches with Reed against the cage.
Reed has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cobb clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Cobb is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Reed off. It looks like it's working - Reed slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Cobb displaying calm under pressure there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cobb takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Reed moves in looking to clinch but Cobb pushes him off. Reed wants to clinch. Reed tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cobb has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Reed slips a jab and a cross from Cobb.
Reed throws a right and a left that Cobb avoids nicely. Cobb seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Cobb closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mervin Cobb dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Reed tries to clinch but Cobb moves away and Cobb counters with a head kick. Reed looks to land a right hand but Cobb moved out of range. Reed tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cobb shoots in for a takedown but Reed shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reed misses with a wild body shot. Cobb lands with a hook. Reed tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Reed is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mervin Cobb is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb darts in and clinches Reed up against the cage. Cobb tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Reed gets control of Cobb's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Cobb wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. Mervin Cobb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reed is trying to control the position but Cobb postures up. Cobb trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Cobb stops Reed from standing up. Reed looking for a sweep. Not yet Reed, not yet. Cobb distracts Reed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobb trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Reed tries to clinch and Cobb counters with a series of strikes. Reed will be more careful next time no doubt. Reed falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cobb counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Cobb ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Reed throws a combination. Cobb tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Cobb is rocked! Cobb drops his hands for a split second and Reed immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Cobb face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Reed follows up with a right hand that knocks Cobb into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
