Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clemente Cooley (ranked 25678 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Ray (ranked 5484 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray has chosen Tsuna Awakens as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clemente Cooley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Ray! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray clinches. Ray swings wildly with an uppercut but Cooley uses good head movement to avoid it. Stalling in the clinch from Ray.
Cooley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ray walks away with a smile on his face. Cooley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ray tries to keep at a distance but Cooley has taken the fight into the clinch. Ray wants to get back to striking at distance but Cooley won't allow it.
Ray turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Cooley throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Cooley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cooley closes the distance and clinches up with Ray, looking for a takedown. Cooley pushes Ray against the cage but Ray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ray has managed to clinch.
Ray turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Ray stalls from top position. An elbow from Ray crashes against the mat.
Cooley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ray taking a breather here. Cooley is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ray in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ray happy to just control the position for now. Ray creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Ray trying to control the action but Cooley is working from the bottom. Cooley is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cooley is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray decides to stand back up. Cooley clinches. Cooley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ray after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clemente Cooley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cooley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ray gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ray is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Cooley looking for a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ray wants to break free but Cooley has control.

Ray has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cooley is trying to keep an underhook but Ray manages to get the takedown into half guard. Cooley is looking to escape. Ray landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ray not doing much here.
Ray lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ross Ray dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cooley throws a lazy head kick and Ray counters with a right hand to the body. Ray has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Ray moves into the clinch. Cooley jumps guard but Ray turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ray shoots in and gets a takedown into Cooley's guard. Cooley wants to sweep but no luck. Cooley is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Ray has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Cooley taps out instantly and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ross Ray! A relieved looking Ross Ray thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
