Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Duke Of Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Duke Of Fluke told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Of Fluke fails to land the takedown.
Of Fluke looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
Smith throws a series of punches but Of Fluke avoids them all with ease.
Smith throws a leg kick that misses.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
A jab from Of Fluke misses.
A clash of legs there as Of Fluke blocks the low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Of Fluke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Of Fluke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Of Fluke shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Of Fluke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Duke Of Fluke.
Of Fluke misses with a double jab.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Smith lands with a nice combination. Of Fluke backs away looking to recover.
It looks like The Duke Of Fluke has been cut.
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
An inside leg kick lands from Smith.

Of Fluke avoids the body shot from Smith.
Some wild striking there from Smith.

Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Of Fluke counters with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Of Fluke distracts Smith with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Of Fluke stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position.
Of Fluke passes Smith's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Of Fluke has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Smith defend it? Of Fluke steps over the head and cranks it - Smith is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Of Fluke!
