Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mats Sundvison!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jone lands a glancing blow to the side of Sundvison's head.

It looked like Jone was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sundvison.

Sundvison has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jone fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sundvison has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sundvison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sundvison looks to land a left hand but Jone moved out of range nicely.

Jone lands a nice hook to Sundvison's body. Sundvison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sundvison. That did some damage!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sundvison crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jone - the referee stops the clock and Sundvison gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jone. Sundvison manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Sundvison in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sundvison might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jone has got the better of the exchanges.

Jone drops Sundvison with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sundvison looks back up at him and smiles so Jone waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jone throws an uppercut from hell that sends Sundvison clean off his feet! He's out cold! Jone stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
