Rodriguez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Rodriguez takes the fight into the clinch.

Bob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rodriguez lands a with a good body shot.

Rodriguez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rodriguez showed some decent athleticism there.
Rodriguez is trying to control the action in half guard but Bob is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bob is trying to stand back up but Rodriguez is controlling him

Rodriguez wants to get up but he can't break Bob's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bob pushes Rodriguez off and scrambles back to his feet.

Rodriguez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bob to the mat! Bob manages to get full guard.
