Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duane Perry (ranked 22 p4p, 4 weight class) and Archie Moore (ranked 208 p4p, 32 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Moore! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Perry has been working on his boxing with his coaches at the smoker in the buildup to the fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Moore. Perry does a little dance to reset his feet. Moore throws a body punch but Perry moves out of range. Perry throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease. Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Perry throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Moore misses with an uppercut
and Perry counters with a thumping low kick. Archie Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perry throws a head kick that misses and Moore counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Perry takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Moore takes one on the button. Perry avoids the body shot from Moore.
A head kick from Moore lands but Perry takes it in his stride. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That was a close second round but I would say that Duane Perry will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

A very excited looking Duane Perry rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. Archie Moore was interviewed post fight and said 'Ugh'.
