Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Builider (ranked 6162 p4p, 717 weight class) and Tsukimi Nagata (ranked 6996 p4p, 750 weight class). Bob Builider could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tsukimi Nagata's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Builider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tsukimi Nagata! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nagata closes the distance and pushes Builider back into the cage. Nagata has clasped his hands together around Builider's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Nagata working away. Builider tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Builider tries to reverse the position but Nagata maintains control. Nagata controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nagata working away from the top, dropping strikes. Nagata controlling the position easily from mount. Nagata looking to control but Builider is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Nagata lands with some strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Builider tries to hold on but Nagata pushes him away. Builider is in a horrible position here. Nagata smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Builider is rocked! Builider really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Nagata wants to finish this one by submission but Builider is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nagata. Builider really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Builider wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Nagata trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Builider doesn't escape. Nagata tightening his grip on Builider, looking for the choke. Nagata has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Builider wants to get back to his feet. Nagata biding his time, controlling Builider. I really don't envy Builider right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nagata avoiding Builider 's attempts to control his hands. Nagata has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Builider is covering up but some of the strikes from Nagata are getting through and doing damage.
Nagata controlling the position well here. Builider rolled but Nagata kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Builider tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Nagata controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Builider tries to lock up and control but Nagata gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Builider regains half guard. Nagata trying to pass the guard but Builider defending well. Nagata working the head and body with strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Builider keeping hold of Nagata's head, controlling as best he can. Nice strikes from Nagata there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsukimi Nagata dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Builider misses with a takedown attempt and Nagata counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nagata. Nagata misses with an elbow strike.
Builider blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Builider pulls guard effortlessly. Nagata trying to control the position from guard on top but Builider is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nagata wanted to stand there but Builider had control of the position. Nagata tries to free his leg and advance position but Builider is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nagata throws a big elbow that misses. Nagata stands up over Builider, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nagata stays in close to Builider's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Builider is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nagata works a leg free and moves into half guard. Nagata trying to control from half guard but Builider is working away. Nagata wants to pass to mount but Builider is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nagata is trying to control the action in half guard but Builider is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Builider has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nagata is working away from the top position though. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nagata seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Builider does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Builider fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nagata has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nagata tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nagata clinches with his opponent.
Builider changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nagata fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Builider. That's going to take a lot out of him. Builider tries to sprawl but Nagata drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nagata takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Nagata is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nagata's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Builider avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nagata.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Builider is trying to control but can't.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Nagata scoring with strikes to the body and head. Nagata performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Builider is trying to maintain the position but Nagata is very close to passing his half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nagata is looking to take a break and control but Builider is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nagata stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsukimi Nagata showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Builider fails with the takedown and Nagata decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Builider's guard. Builider has momentary wrist control but Nagata slips an elbow through the middle. Nagata trying to control but Builider is working from the bottom. Tsukimi Nagata has got the better of the ground game so far. Nagata is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Builider is trying to control the position but Nagata postures up. Builider will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nagata trying to stand up but can't free himself from Builider's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nagata attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Builider goes for a double leg but Nagata avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nagata continues to drive forward. Nagata with the counter takedown but Builider avoids it easily. Nagata closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Builider's guard. Builider is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nagata lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nagata pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Builider misses with a takedown attempt and Nagata cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Builider. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Builider avoids the head kick by Nagata.
Nagata avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Builider is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Builider shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nagata pinned against the cage. Nagata gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nagata is looking to land body kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Builider shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nagata counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nagata jumps into guard, dragging Builider to the mat.
Nagata is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Builider is aware though and is defending well. Builider being controlled here momentarily. Nagata avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nagata tries to land a sweep but no joy. Builider stops Nagata from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nagata working for a triangle but Builider defends it easily.
Nagata pulls Builider in close to his closed guard and prevents Builider from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nagata moves into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Builider wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nagata has him pressed against the cage. Builider tries to score a body lock takedown but Nagata shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bob Builider has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tsukimi Nagata is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nagata avoiding damage as Builider throws knees to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Tsukimi Nagata comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nagata has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
