Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Glatt (ranked 1992 p4p, 287 weight class) and Hunter Greene (ranked 4306 p4p, 562 weight class). Glatt comes into the arena with Killed by death blaring out of the sound system. Greene is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Oakland. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Doug Glatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hunter Greene! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glatt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Greene takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Hunter Greene has been cut. Greene takes one on the button. Glatt lands a jab to Greene's midsection. Greene throws a low kick, looking for Glatt's leg but Glatt calmly moves out of range. Glatt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A shot to the liver by Glatt. Beautiful body shot. Glatt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Glatt works Greene's body with a nice hook. Greene throws a left and a right that both miss

and Glatt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Glatt jabs Greene to the body, keeping him at a distance. Glatt connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene shoots in but no luck this time. Glatt lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Glatt is looking to wear down Greene with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Glatt dodges the punch combination from Greene.
Glatt is looking to counter punch. Greene takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A shot to the liver by Glatt. Beautiful body shot. Glatt scores with a jab to the body. Nice body punch from Glatt. Glatt looks to land a combination. Greene sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Greene scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Greene takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Doug Glatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glatt throws a sloppy head kick and Greene moves out of range easily. Glatt lands with an uppercut that bounces Greene off the cage and back into range. Glatt connects with a high kick. Glatt is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Glatt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Greene tries a quick counter leg kick but Glatt is wise to it. Glatt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Greene. Greene scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glatt lands with an uppercut that bounces Greene off the cage and back into range. Glatt throws a head kick that misses. Despite the aggression on Greene's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Glatt is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Greene pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Glatt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greene now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Greene throws a poor cross that misses
and Glatt counters with a head kick. That will keep Greene thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Glatt scores with a punch to the head.
Greene is rocked! Greene walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Greene limp body while Glatt jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Doug Glatt! Doug Glatt tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. Hunter Greene spoke after the fight, saying 'i'll be back, God has a plan and tonight his plan was for my ass to get kicked. I'm going to pray and train like a Tibetan monk...'.
