The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duncan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Duncan misses with a low kick.
Tipton thinks about countering with a head kick.
Duncan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tipton.
Duncan misses with a wild combination.
Tipton changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Tipton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duncan did well to prevent Tipton getting side control.
Duncan has hold of Tipton's hands but Tipton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tipton passes the guard and advances to mount!
Duncan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Tipton scoring with strikes but Duncan is staying in there.
Duncan is rocked!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tipton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Duncan is still in real trouble! Can Tipton finish him?
A big strike lands for Tipton! That's really hurt Duncan and he's turned his back - Tipton keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tipton jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Byron Tipton took some time post fight to say the following; 'ITS MY TIME BABY! I WANT THAT F***ING BELT '.
Siggy Duncan was interviewed post fight and said 'I knew this was going to be a tough fight. But you gotta fight the best, to be the best. I'll be back. '.
