Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Frame (ranked 10163 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inzak Panipa (ranked 9273 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Frame! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Inzak Panipa! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panipa closes the distance but Frame moves to the side and Frame counters with a nice uppercut. Frame works over Panipa's head and body with a nice combination. Panipa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Panipa moves in looking to clinch but Frame pushes him off. Frame misses with a straight right. Panipa tries to close the distance and clinch but Frame swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Panipa tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Frame counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Frame throws an overhand right that lands on Panipa's shoulder, as Panipa tries to avoid the shot. Panipa closes the distance but Frame moves to the side and Frame counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frame throws a right and a left that both miss. Panipa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Frame goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Panipa doesn't manage to clinch there - Frame circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panipa tests Frame's chin there with a solid looking shot. Panipa darts in trying to clinch and Frame counters with a stiff right hand. Panipa tries to clinch but Frame moves out of range. Panipa wants to clinch. Panipa tries to clinch there but Frame circles away.
Frame missing with a left hand there. Panipa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Frame moves out of range of the body kick. Panipa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Panipa wants to clinch and Panipa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fight stays on the outside here - Panipa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panipa tries to clinch but fails miserably and Frame counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Frame misses with a two punch combination.
Frame goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Panipa tries to clinch but Frame moves out of range. Panipa slips under a jab from Frame. Panipa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Frame will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Panipa jabs at Frame's body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Panipa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Frame.
Panipa lands with a good body shot. Frame lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frame avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Frame swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frame throws a shot from downtown. Panipa moves away and avoids it. Panipa clinches. Panipa connects with a nasty looking knee right to Frame's face.
Panipa gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Andrew Frame has been cut. Panipa can't find room to land a body shot as Frame controls the action.
Panipa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Frame's elbow. Panipa lands an elbow just above Frame 's eye. Frame tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A frustrated look appears on Frame's face as he tries to break the clinch. Nice body punch from Frame. Frame tries to circle away but Panipa has him pinned against the cage. Panipa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A frustrated look appears on Frame's face as he tries to break the clinch. Panipa lands with a right to the head. Frame misses with a short punch on the inside. Frame wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Panipa has him pressed against the cage. Frame takes an elbow to the forehead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Panipa creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Frame's defenses. Panipa throws a punch but it's blocked by Frame.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panipa lands an elbow that stopped Frame in his tracks for a moment. A short uppercut from Panipa. Panipa tries a body shot but Frame blocks it.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Panipa.
Frame is rocked! Frame is pressed against the cage. Panipa pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Frame! Two more big strikes from Panipa and Frame crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Inzak Panipa!
