Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 25055 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Blue (ranked 7169 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Dover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bubba Blue!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Dover. Beautiful body shot.
Blue slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Blue has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dover is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dover fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dover motions for Blue to come forward. Dover throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Blue finds it's way through Dover's defenses.
Blue leaves Dover with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dover throws a right and a left that Blue avoids nicely.
Dover misses with a wild combination.
Blue wants to counter with a clinch but Dover pushes him away.
Dover dives in for a single leg takedown but Blue sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Dover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blue scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dover doesn't seem bothered though.

and Blue counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Blue drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dover pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dover walks into a jab.
Blue cracks Dover with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dover dives in and grabs Blue's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blue pushes down on Dover's head and hops out.
Blue throws a head kick but Dover moves out of range.
Blue looking to score a takedown here. Dover is defending well but Blue drives through and ends up in Dover's guard.
Dover is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Blue dives into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Blue cracks Dover with a big right hand but Dover just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Blue is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dover knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dover gets back to half guard.
Blue keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Blue missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Blue stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dover to get to his feet.
Dover shoots in looking for a takedown but Blue manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dover's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Blue throws out a counter right but Dover avoids it with no problem.
Dover drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dover tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blue manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

and Blue counters with a straight right hand.
Blue gets a clinch.
Dover has Blue pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Blue manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Blue.
Blue stops a takedown attempt from Dover.
Blue lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dover tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Blue manages to move to mount!
Dover is breathing heavily.
Blue lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Blue in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dover is desperately trying to improve his position but Blue has a good base and remains in mount.
Blue looking to control and managing it successfully.

Blue lands a big elbow.
Blue takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Blue has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dover is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba Blue dominated that round.
That's time! Dover's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dover blocks the body kick.
Blue scores with a jab. Dover acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Blue shoots in looking for a takedown. Dover tries to sprawl out of it but Blue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dover manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dover seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Blue clinches up with Dover and pushes him back against the cage.
Dover tries to throw a body punch but Blue avoids it by throwing Dover back against the cage.
Dover takes a knee to the side of the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blue breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ben Dover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blue feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dovers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bubba Blue seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Blue shoots in and bounces Dover off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dover is looking to stand back up but Blue counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dover.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blue lands with a punch from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blue seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dover is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bubba Blue!
