Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Aurelio (ranked 3099 p4p, 438 weight class) and Jimmy Frazier (ranked 2710 p4p, 396 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcelo Aurelio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Frazier! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aurelio lands with a thumping leg kick.
Frazier on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aurelio. Aurelio obviously looking to wear him down.
Frazier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Marcelo Aurelio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frazier thows a left - swing and a miss! Aurelio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aurelio gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Frazier engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Frazier trying to control but Aurelio is working from the bottom. Aurelio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Aurelio has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier trying to control the position from guard on top but Aurelio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aurelio wants to sweep here but Frazier controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aurelio is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frazier is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aurelio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Frazier. Aurelio manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Frazier manages to get himself to full guard.
Frazier controlling the position. Frazier is trying to control the position but Aurelio postures up. Aurelio throwing strikes from guard but Frazier blocks nicely. Aurelio postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Aurelio preventing the sweep. Aurelio stays in close to Frazier's body and controls the position. Aurelio sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frazier's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aurelio is nestled in close to Frazier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Aurelio is trying to work for a kimura but Frazier is defending well.
Frazier is trying to control but can't.
Aurelio throws a strike but Frazier avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Aurelio loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Frazier wants to sweep but no luck. Aurelio wants to pass the guard but Frazier is keeping the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frazier is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aurelio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Frazier. Frazier stopping the sweep attempt from Aurelio. Aurelio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Aurelio looking to control.
Frazier makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Aurelio is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Frazier is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Frazier preventing the sweep. Aurelio is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Frazier working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Aurelio bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frazier's guard. Aurelio wants to control from the top but Frazier keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aurelio trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Frazier keeping moving, preventing Aurelio from controlling successfully. Frazier is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Frazier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frazier pulls Aurelio in close to prevent any damage. Aurelio postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Frazier is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aurelio, into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frazier postures up in Aurelio's guard and throws a big left but Aurelio blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marcelo Aurelio will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A looping hook to the body misses from Aurelio. Frazier does a little dance to reset his feet. Frazier has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Aurelio. Frazier is looking to clinch but Aurelio is avoiding it.
Frazier has managed to clinch.
Aurelio lands a hook to the side of the head. Frazier is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Aurelio is defending well for now. Frazier is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Aurelio is keeping busy. Frazier looking for a takedown. Frazier scores with a knee to the head.
Frazier has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aurelio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Aurelio has a couple of punches blocked by Frazier.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frazier slows down the pace here.

Frazier must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Frazier is working Aurelio over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Frazier scoring with some ground and pound. Aurelio is looking to cinch up a triangle. Frazier throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Aurelio's body to avoid the submission. Aurelio has instead reached around Frazier's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Aurelio arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
