Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilhelm Louis Stern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quickius Rapidus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wilhelm Louis Stern! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quickius Rapidus! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rapidus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stern circles away quickly and effectively. Rapidus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rapidus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stern drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rapidus has his foot on Stern's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stern works his way back into a safe position though. Stern advances position into side control! Rapidus gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Rapidus taking shots to the head. Rapidus gets back to half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stern lands with a punch from half guard. Stern wants to pass to mount but Rapidus is defending the position. Stern perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rapidus trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stern passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rapidus! Stern has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rapidus's face.
Stern lands a nice shot to the head. Stern cracks Rapidus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rapidus is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Stern tries to control but Rapidus wriggling away. Stern tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rapidus working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rapidus tries to hold on but Stern postures up. Stern looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stern cracks Rapidus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rapidus somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Stern pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quickius Rapidus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stern closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rapidus is defending against the submission attempts here by Stern.

Rapidus is trying to get back to full guard. Stern with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Stern works his way into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapidus is trying to get back to half guard. Stern working away. Rapidus looks gassed! Rapidus tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stern has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stern landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Rapidus is looking to regain half guard here but Stern keeps moving and retains side control. Stern is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rapidus looks calm but he's in trouble here. Stern gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rapidus is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Stern lets go of the hold and Rapidus can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Wilhelm Louis Stern! Wilhelm Louis Stern retains his light heavyweight title!
