0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorik Revazov! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Revazov blocks a head kick by Napleton.
Napleton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Revazov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Napleton manages to avoid it. Revazov jabbing away but nothing is landing. Revazov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Napleton but Napleton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Napleton staying out of range there. Napleton jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Napleton tries to clinch up. Revazov fails with the takedown. We've been told by Napleton's head coaches at BimmerHaus that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Revazov tries to land a front kick but Napleton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Revazov just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromNapleton. Napleton misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Napleton slips a straight right by Revazov. Revazov avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Revazov has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Napleton is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Napleton keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Revazov's efforts to push away. Revazov wants a takedown but no success here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Napleton is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Revazov is keeping busy. Napleton lands a big knee to the head and Revazov goes down! Napleton pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
