The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Miller. That snapped Rome's head back.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rome swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rome with the counter takedown but Miller avoids it easily.
Miller lands a nice hook to Rome's body. Rome takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miller wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rome uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.
Rome walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Miller keeps control of Rome as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rome wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rome tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position.

A nice side step and Rome releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Rome seems to have recovered his senses.

Miller wants to clinch up but Rome keeps it at a distance.
Miller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Rome throws out a counter right but Miller avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd cheers as Miller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rome doesn't seem phased though.

Rome raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Rome takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A decent looking cross lands there for Miller.
Miller tries to clinch there but Rome circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rome! But no joy.

Miller cracks Rome with a hook to the temple - Rome is on wobbly legs here! Miller swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Rome falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Miller wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mike Miller!
After the fight, Mike Miller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
