Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Guzman (ranked 10226 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Ravek (ranked 6086 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ravek shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guzman's guard.
Ravek must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Guzman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Guzman is looking to stand up but Ravek isn't so interested in that idea.

Ravek is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Guzman swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ravek is now in Guzman's guard. A big mistake from Guzman there, giving up the dominant position!

Guzman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ravek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guzman tries to avoid it but Ravek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guzman to the ground. Guzman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looked like Guzman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ravek has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Tokyo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Ravek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guzman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
