Mendez doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Thomas counter with a right hand.
It looks like Chavez Mendez has been cut.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Thomas! Mendez is backing up but he can't get away as Thomas lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Mendez and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Tom Thomas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
