Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hippo Potamus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Leonitis !
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potamus blocks the body kick.
Potamus throws a lazy right hand but Leonitis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Despite the aggression on Leonitis 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A bone on bone clash there as Potamus blocks the leg kick.
Potamus fails to land with a series of punches.
Potamus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Leonitis .
Potamus cracks Leonitis with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Leonitis blocks a head kick by Potamus.
Potamus throws a combination. Leonitis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Potamus looks for the body kick but Leonitis saw that one coming.
Potamus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Leonitis takes a swing at Potamus's ribcage but misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looked like Potamus was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Leonitis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Potamus scores with a jab to the head.
Potamus lands a nice looking kick to the body. Leonitis takes a step back to recover.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Leonitis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Potamus connects with a leg kick. Leonitis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Leonitis needs to keep his hands up - Potamus had a free shot at his head there.
Potamus throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Leonitis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Potamus - the referee stops the clock and Leonitis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Potamus. Leonitis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Potamus Throws a clean left jab. Potamus Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Leonitis 's chin! Leonitis crumbles to the ground and Potamus follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Potamus!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hippo Potamus!
A very excited looking Hippo Potamus made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
