Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tod Truck (ranked 4806 p4p, 603 weight class) and Tommy Rosario (ranked 7767 p4p, 781 weight class). The key to victory for Tod Truck has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosario fails with the takedown.

Rosario shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Truck as he avoids it easily.
Truck with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rosario moves out of range as Truck strikes.

Rosario closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Truck's guard.

Truck scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Rosario shoots in looking for a takedown. Truck tries to sprawl out of it but Rosario keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Truck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tod Truck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Rosario .
Truck feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rosario s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Truck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Truck has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Truck drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Truck jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rosario working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Truck doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rosario is tightening it up a little... Truck has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Truck reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Truck taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rosario !
